The Kodiak Veterinary Clinic is fully equipped to provide veterinary care for emergency and urgent care situations. A staff veterinarian is available on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for life threatening emergencies that occur after the business office has closed. During normal business hours, urgent care situations can be handled on a walk-in basis if a regularly scheduled appointment is not available.
If your pet is having difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, throat, or abdomen, has suffered a traumatic injury, or possibly ingested a foreign body or toxic substance, please contact our office or after hour emergency veterinarian IMMEDIATELY!!!!

- Please note: If you call the emergency cell and reach the voice mail, please leave a detailed message with your name, phone number, and description of your pet’s symptoms. The on-call veterinarian may be on another call or is currently with another client. They will return your call as soon as possible.
If you are a witness to an accident involving an animal where the owner of said animal is not readily present or available, please contact the Kodiak Police Department (Animal Control Officer) immediately at (907) 486-8000.
