Our team of receptionists and technicians at the Kodiak Veterinary Clinic consists of people who have a deep-rooted passion for the companion animal bond. Regardless of our personal situation, whether we are born and raised in Kodiak, or a Coast Guard family member serving their duty on the “Rock”, we have come together as a team dedicated to the cause of providing excellent care for the pets living in the City of Kodiak, the United States Coast Guard Base, and all of the surrounding communities and villages on or around Kodiak Island. Through the years, the faces may have changed, but our team continues a dedicated and passionate effort to provide outstanding patient care.

Nicole moved to Kodiak in 2016 and decided to stay to advance and pursue her career in veterinary medicine. At age 24 she started working at a veterinary hospital as a kennel attendant while getting her certification in veterinary assisting. She brings with her to Kodiak a beautiful daughter who loves coming to work with mommy to see and “help” with all the cool procedures, and a goofy lovable mutt she adopted in 2014 named Patton. When she’s not at work you would most likely find her on the beach sitting around a fire with her friends or taking a drive out the road to take in the scenery of the island.
Rachael – Veterinary Assistant
Rachael is a passionate advocate for client education. She loves learning and empowering owners through her ever-expanding understanding of veterinary science. Originally from the Racing Capitol of the World—Indianapolis, Indiana—Rachael and her husband moved to Kodiak in August of 2016. While she loves all animals, Rachael has a soft spot for American Pit Bull Terriers, senior dogs, and chubby cats. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, backpacking, and reading... and candy. She loves candy.

Hannah was born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She obtained a B.S. from Christopher Newport University. She has always had a passion for veterinary medicine and began working in the field in high school. After getting married in 2011, she and her husband were stationed in Kodiak. Hannah began working at KVC and began schooling for her Veterinary Technician license. They were transferred to Florida for 3 years, but were excited to be stationed back in Kodiak in 2017. Hannah’s old kitty Bagheera “retired” in Florida so for now, she loves on all her patients at the office. Her passions are surgery (especially Orthopedics!), emergencies, and client education. When not at work, Hannah loves being outdoors hiking, fishing, kayaking, and working out.
