Dr. Victoria Nelson

Dr. Nelson graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2019. Since then she has been traveling as a relief veterinarian around the country. Until she came here and fell in love! She has experience in small animal emergency and general practice. 

She has a heart for Alaska! During the sled dog race seasons you can find her in Willow at the 300 Iditarod qualifier races, where performed pre-race exams as well as on trail field work with teams to ensure safety and well-being of the athletes from start to finish.  She is very excited to get to know our town and all the wonderful pets and people that call Kodiak home.
